Food!

Food, food, I love food! I love all kinds of food!
Lettuce is one of my very favourite foods to snack on. It's yummy, and it's also very low in fat and good for my tummy!
I also love getting raw goat bones.
Whenever Daddy cooks goat meat, he gives me all the bones. The raw bones don't splinter, and I can chew them for a long time. They taste so good!!
Sometimes I like stealing lunches.
Once I stole a piece of bread while Chanelle had her back turned to get something to put in her sandwich.
Chanelle says that, one day, she'll buy me a special bowl to put my food in. I have one already, but it isn't very pretty. These are a few we saw at our local pet store.
Don't you think this one suits me?

Awesome Dogs Have Awesome Friends

This is my friend, Shadeye. She came over to my house to visit me a few months ago. We had a lot of fun!!
Shadeye and I are both awesome and really cool, so we high fived a lot.
Then Shadeye asked me if she could see my favourite trick, "Bang!"
She said "BANG!" really loudly, and then I played dead. She thought that was really cool.
After that, we did a cool dance, and then we ran around. I had a really cool, fun time with Shadeye.

A Grand Return and Two New Tricks!

Here I am again! It's me, Cookie! Did you miss me? You probably didn't. Perhaps you've never read my blog before, or you just forgot about me? Well, my name is Cookie Monster and I'm an awesome dog. I used to blog a while ago, and I've decided that it's high time I do it again!
Today, Chanelle and I did some training and I started learning two new tricks! The first one is called "poke", and the second one is called "touch". "Poke" involves me touching an object with my nose, and "touch" involves me doing the same with a paw. The inspiration for these tricks came from my love of hunting down and finding things. Once, Chanelle and Mommy jokingly encouraged me to track down a bee that had gotten into the house. I had never been trained to track, but when they said "Find the bee!" I began to run around the house sniffing and looking for what they wanted me to find. Nobody knows why I do this. I'm a multi-poo after all, not a beagle! Chanelle hopes that I can be trained to find a specific object in a pile of objects. She says she would love it if I had a "job" like some other dogs do. Maybe finding things will be my "job"!
Here's a short video of me demonstrating my limited knowledge on my new tricks. I didn't have the best level of concentration though. Right before the video, I knocked a cart over and it almost landed on me! I was -- and still am -- frightened by this occurrence. Chanelle thought my reaction was hilarious. I, however, did not.
